Alok Sharma was elected MP for Reading West in May 2010.
Prior to his election he was a chartered accountant. In addition he is the former Chair of the Bow Group Economic Affairs Committee and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacturing and Commerce.
